How much does 5G Internet cost in Zambia?
Speeds | Price | Validity | Add 5g router* |
---|---|---|---|
30 Mbps | K 1999 | 30 days | K 1000 |
50 Mbps | K 2399 | 30 days | K 600 |
*5G router valued at K3000
Conclusion – Final thoughts
I am little bit disappointed about this new 5G network because I was expecting speeds of above 100 mbps because these 30 or 50 mbps speeds are actually 4G speeds that have existed in other countries for many years now. And again, in different places of Lusaka with other networks at different times, it is possible to get upto 30mbps without 5G when lucky.
But looking at how slow internet is in Zambia, getting the 30mbps package at K1999 UNCAPPED is actually worth it if it really works that way because we have been paying a lot of money in the name of fast internet when the speed does not even reach half the speed we are promised with almost all networks in Zambia.
