Have you ever called up a business, and then been taken aback when they answer unprofessionally? It doesn’t inspire confidence. This is why you need to get a business phone number. If a phone call, a text or an email comes in for your company, you can at least respond with a professional greeting. You don’t need to get an expensive business landline if you don’t want to. You can add a second line to your phone for a very small monthly payment, so make sure that you keep this in mind.
Use the Right Business Address
It’s fine in this day and age, for you to start your business from home. You can also do it from a coworking space, or anywhere in the world. Using a business address however, helps to give you a layer of privacy. It also helps you to be way more professional overall. If you don’t quite feel ready to go ahead and invest in a business space, then why not at least get a PO box? You can then use this address as if it is your street address. If you have a business space, upgrade it by adding some flat panel led lights, or even by adding a new sign outside the front.
