The Keltner Channel strategy is a combination of two indicators that is the the Keltner Channel which is a classical technical analysis indicator developed by Chester W. Keltner in 1960. The indicator resembles Bollinger Bands and Envelopes in appearance. The middle line is a 10-day simple moving average applied to the normal price ((high low close) / 3), while the upper and lower bands are created by adding and subtracting the daily price range’s moving average (High and Low difference) from the middle line. This creates a volatility-based channel. You can change all of the MA’s parameters in this version of the indicator. The indication is only available on the MT5 platform.
To help you make better entries and exits, this complete strategy comes with an additional custom indicator called Keltner assistant made by me. The Keltner assistant is a fully unique indicator that does not rely on normal MT4/MT5 indicators. In a separate window of the graphic, it displays the weighted trendline. It can be used to notify basic entry and exit. The indicator works only on MetaTrader 5.
