How To Improve Your Google Analytics Bounce Rate

One of the biggest problems I have always had when trying to improve my Google Analytics Bounce Rate is getting visitors who are truly interested in what I have to offer. Some of the things you might not know is that Google’s website will actually lower your bounce rate if you have a high quality site. This is because if your site visitor is bored, they won’t stay on your site long enough to see all of the information you have to offer. Google also monitors how many times your visitors leave the page. The more they leave, the lower your Google Analytics Bounce Rate.

So, to improve your Google Analytics Bounce Rate, there are several things you can do. The first thing I would suggest is using a title. A lot of times, prospects are browsing through the pages of your website and if you don’t grab their attention right away with your title, they will probably click on another page where they can find what they are looking for. And we all know that once a visitor lands on a page, they are more likely to stay on that page if it has a good title.

Also, make sure the page contains keywords that your visitors are searching for. One example of this is the word free. If someone is looking for a freebie, they are more likely to type in freebie rather than search for the exact phrase. This is an important step because it tells Google what kind of people are visiting your site.

Your page description is just as important as your title. This is the second step of SEO. It’s the “what” and “why” of your site. This will tell Google about the contents of your site as well as give them an idea of how to get the most out of their visit.

The third step is to make sure the links in your website are relevant. You may think this is obvious. But, you would be surprised at how many sites have totally non-related links to their home pages. If you don’t want visitors to leave your site, you should make sure they click on relevant links. If you’re not sure as to how to do this, it is highly recommended that you hire a professional to help you out.

The fourth and final step on how to improve your Google Analytics bounces rate is to put some effort into internal linking. This means making sure all pages have internal links leading to them. Internal links are very important for Search Engine Optimization. They are essentially “pre-requisites” for SEO. If your site doesn’t have any internal links, you will find your bounce rate is going to be much higher than desired.

Now that you have gone through these four steps, you should be able to improve your Google Analytics bounce rate. To do so, you need to implement some simple tactics. These tactics are easy to implement and should be effective. You will have to experiment with them to see what kind of difference they can make. If you can get your bounce rate down below 40%, you will find that your site will attract more visitors than ever before!
