First of all, the design of this device is really very unique and it is not very common to see any of these phones. The front face has a very futuristic looking curved screen and also there are plenty of other different applications on the screen as well. The back of the phone has a really cool looking image of the robot in front of the football player. It has a really nice dual speaker system that will easily fit in any room in your home.

Tecno is primarily focused on low-cost and mid-range devices for emerging markets, but the company wants to expand into higher-end markets. As a result, Phantom will be relaunched as a separate sub-brand that will produce premium devices. And Phantom is ready to strike.
The Phantom X is the new brand’s first phone, and it has some impressive camera hardware on both the front and back.
Phantom X cameras
A 50MP main module with a large 1/1.3” sensor with 1.2m native pixels that grow to 2.4m with binning is featured in the triple rear camera. Behind an f/1.85 lens, this sensor has Dual Pixel and Laser autofocus.
The following camera is a 13MP telephoto with a 50mm lens that is marketed as a portrait camera. This focal length also has a 2x magnification over the main lens, making it a telephoto camera – okay, 2x isn’t much, but it’s the first tele lens on a Tecno phone.
The third module has an 8MP sensor and a 120o ultrawide-angle lens. A quad LED flash is included with these cameras. And, get this, there are no gimmicky depth sensors or “AI” cameras on board – other brands, including Tecno, should take note. We haven’t even begun to discuss cameras.
On the front, the Phantom X has a 48MP selfie camera, which is supplemented by an 8MP ultrawide module with a 105o lens. A dual LED flash assists these two. On paper, the X has one of the most impressive camera setups of any smartphone that will be released this year.
Starting with the 6.7″ SuperAMOLED display, the rest sounds promising. It’s a 90Hz panel with 1080p+ resolution (19.5:9) and curved sides, which, for better or worse, is the mark of a premium device. The company even paid for the device’s front and back Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Fingerprint scanner, processor, RAM and storage
The fingerprint reader is integrated into the display and unlocks the phone in less than 0.4 seconds.
The MediaTek Helio G95 chipset powers the Phantom. This 12nm chip, which features two Cortex-A76 cores and a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU, is probably the least impressive aspect of the phone. It does, however, have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The chipset also has a vapor chamber cooling system, which promises to keep it 3-5 degrees cooler.

The battery has a capacity of 4,700 mAh and supports fast charging at 33W. A 30 minute charge is sufficient to resurrect a dead battery and restore it to 70% capacity.

Yes it is. It has 8 GB of RAM. And you can shot 4k videos with this phone powered by 50 MP. This phone has video stabilization feature, so your videos will always look good even without a Gimbal video stabilizer. This phone also has auto focus even in videos. So your videos will always have that look like you used a big camera. There is no much bigger difference between this Phantom X and the one am currently using to make videos on my YouTube channel which is the Tecno Camon 16 premier with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB storage and 64 MP. The video below, was shot using the Tecno Camon 16 premier. The Camon 16 premier costs between K5,700 and K6,800 in Zambia. I am thinking of selling this one soon when the Phantom X Pro or Premier is out.
